Prodotta col metodo dell’alta fermentazione, è l’interpretazione di uno stile britannico molto classico, esaltato dall’aggiunta di granella di cacao a fine fermentazione.

(Thx! for sharing!) Sampled draft @ Italian BEER Week-End #5. Black, small tanned head. Nose is grainy sweet chocolate, mocha, sweet milk chocolate, basic, simple, pleasant. Taste is lightly bitter upfront, some leaves & herbal notes that slightly take It down, basic milk chocolate, mocha, low herbal bitterness, lactose,… Body is sweet mocha, grainy, sweet lactose,… Decent & easy.

Handpump @Buskers Pub (Rome). Pours brown with a medium beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, nuts, chocolate, not so persistent. Flavour is nuts, chocolate, malt, some coffee notes. Low body, watery, low carbonation. Simple, not so interesting... so so...

[10/20/13] Draught at Eurhop Beer Festival 2013 in Rome. Dark brown to black with a beige head. Nice roasty aroma with dark chocolate. Sweetish flavor with roastiness, chocolate and light fruity notes. Medium-bodied.
