0,5 l bottle labeled as Export - Ohne Filter. Big thank you to Erzengel! Nearly clear amber in the glass, one finger pale beige head. Malty caramel smell. Taste has also caramel with toasted malt. Below average carbonated. Pleasant stuff.

Mild grainy beginning. Soft with a nice fruity back. Hints of grain with roasted caramel. Moderate bitterness, fruity with a sessionable smooth mild finish. Nice grainy caramelly, easy to drink.

50cl bottle. A clear amber beer with a white head. Aroma of caramelized and mild reddish malt. Taste of reddish malt, caramel, some resins.

0.5 l bottle from 'Bierothek', best before April 2021. Slightly hazy, deep reddish amber with a medium large, foamy, stable, off-white head. Sweetish, slightly malty aroma of caramel, nuts and some honey. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter taste of caramel, nuts, traces of raisins and a touch of honey, followed by a short, slightly bitter, caramelly finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pleasant, rather quaffable Dunkles Export.

Mild würziger, weich herber Antrunk. Angenehm mild hopfig, weiche Karbonisierung. Spritzig, die Würzigkeit bleibt deutlich, Noten von Karamell, süffig. Vollmundig, langer Nachhall, weiter Karamell. Gut. 12/10/11/11//11

Bottle (10dl):Clear, copper coloured, lively carbonation, stable and medium-sized off-white creamy head; moderate dryish nose of toasted malt, bread and bread-crusts and traces of nuts with a distinctive herbal-hoppy background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied and relatively soft; lingering bitter-sweet toasty and bready finish with a bitter and balancing aftertaste.Well...Far better than expected...
