330ml bottle from Eide Handel, shared with friends at a New Year’s Eve Party. Hazy golden body, low white head, lacing rings down the glass. Modest aroma of wheat and yeasty fruits. Lightly spiced flavours to moments of yeasty fruits, lemon, and wheat. Mid-sweet end. Soft in the mouth. Rather anonymous. (Tromsø 31.12.2016).

Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, wheat, yeast, orange, grass and hint of coriander. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long orange, yeasty, grainy and grassy finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. An unclear orange colored beer with a small white head. Rather yeasty aroma with hints of sulphur, some wheat, grass and herbal notes. It’s medium bodied and quite effervescent, dry and with some bitterness. There’s a generic fruityness in the mouth, but mostly it’s bready malts and grassy, herbal hops. Fruity, yeasty finish. Neither interesting nor good or true to style this one. 160917

Medium offwhite head, Hazy opaque orange body. Fruity mealy herbal aroma with coriander notes. Dryish fruity mealy taste with herbal notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel, slightly low on carbonation. Dryish mealy coriander aftertaste with fruity citric notes. Nice, drinkable, with vivid flavours. (0.33l bottle, from Meny Strømmen.)

Big fizzy-creamy longlasting, hazy muddy color. Aroma is strange floral, weeds, sawdust, yeast, flowers, hay, minerals, cereal, paper, sour grass, bark. Taste is dry mineraly, weeds, hay, minerals, sawdust, sour grass, yeast, bark, paper, flowers. Medium bitterness, dry mineraly mouthfeel. Crap!

330 ml bottle, from the brewery. ABV is 4.7%. Hazy straw colour, moderate white head. Moderate citric and soapy aroma. Citric flavour, with hints of coriander. Minimal hops. Very refreshing to drink, but not a really great witbier, and not very typical for the style.
