330 ml bottle courtesy of skullgeorge. Clear golden color with white to off white head. Heavy hoppy and light malty aroma, pine, citrusy fruity, grapefruit, grassy, dank, weedy, caramel, light bread. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma but not as good. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Bottle at Piu Ristorante. Very grass-hoppy and quite bitter, but the low ABV and rather low malts make this rather imbalanced. Very short finish.

Bottle sample courtesy of the All In crew. Pours hazy yellow with a small frothy offwhite head that leaves a small trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is slightly fruity and herbal with crackers, grapefruit jucie, mango, star fruit, freshly cut grass, pine needles and lemon zest. Taste is tiny sweet, bitter and fruity. mouthfeel is slightly dry, astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and bitter with buttered crackers, grapefruit juice, mango, star fruit, freshly cut grass, pine needles and lemon zest. Slight butter drags down the grade. Solid except for that.

I am drinking Crak! Well Crak Brewery’s Guerilla Subversive IPA 5.8% This Italian brewery recently showed up in Japan with a selection of beers with really cool labels like this one. The Mosaic, Simcoe & Galaxy give this a fantastic hop bouquet - intensely tropical: mango, guava, litchee & passionfruit. Great. Medium bodied with a very sharp carbonation and exceedingly dry finish. The taste starts off sweetly tropical, then gives you a bitter pine & citrus rind hit before finishing with tropical fruit notes at the end that linger in the aftertaste. I’m glad I took a chance in this random find at CRAFT BEER BASE for 670¥ or so. Really nice stuff.

Draught at All In Beer Fest 2015. Almost clear golden liquid with medium white head. Aroma of citrus, mango, red berries, tangerine, bread, light grain and fresh hops. Taste is dry and medium bitter with notes of citrus, grain, tangerine, light grain and red berries. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Drinkable. Super nice! Great hop profile and subdued malt profile.

Bottled (backlog). Hazy amber colour with a small white head. Aroma is citrus, mild catpiss, some pine and mild resin. Flavour has a similar hopping, but also has a quite strong malty body to it. Spruce and mild spicy notes in the finish, and the spiciness makes it slightly out of balance.
