Sleeping Lemons Export comes in at 6% lending a bigger, maltier body to the beer. The fuller mouthfeel and warming alcohol bring decadent flavours of lemon meringue pie to the character of this beer and the acidity is more rounded and reminiscent of lemon curd.
Made with preserved lemons, this re-release of an old favourite, now available in our 330ml bottles for you selfish people out there who feel sharing is all too much...

Strong lemon zest, earthy malts, some savory notes and some hints of melon and ginger. Effervescent, lively carb. Tart finish, earthy lemon, and savory herbs notes.

From tap at Café Derat, Utrecht. Aroma is bready wheat with lots of tart lemon and a hint of funk. Flavour is mild sour and a bit salty. Body is medium. Refreshing yet stronger version of the original Sleeping Lemons, not necessarily that much better, easy lemony Gose.

Bottled (from Alko). Hazy orangeish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is floral, citrusy, some salt and a bit tart. Flavour is citrus, some floral and tart tones along with mild grains.

(Bottle) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity nose with notes of white bread, hay, lemon peel and spices. Fruity, slightly tart taste with white bread, lemon peel, hay, spices and a mild salty touch in a tart finish. Medium body, dry. Different, but tasty and refreshing with a good mix of tart lemons and salt. Nice one.

Thin off white head left an unclear golden body. Lemon & seaweed aroma. Medium to thin bodied, sharp on tongue with a full back. Bitter sour lemon, chalk, pepper & herbal tastes. Very refreshing

Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured a hazy orange with a white circle head. Aroma is citrus, lemon, some salt. Taste is strong lemons, grain, not much to it but decent.

A hazed blonde Gose with a thin white head and floaties. In aroma, nice fruity malt with light lemon notes, lactic acid, pleasant. In mouth, a nice mix of tart lemon, fruity esters, nice and smooth. Bottle from LCBO, a few years old.

Bottle at the Golden Eagle Lincoln. Light cloudy golden colour with a thin head. Aroma lemon citrus and hints of salt. Crisp refreshing body.
