500ml can. Pours dark brown with a tall beige head. Aroma is brown bread, caramel. Taste is medium sweet, brown sugar, brown bread, faint roastiness. Light bitter finish. A bit on the sweet side, but good nonetheless.

Clear dark mahogany, creamy beige head. Smells of dark malts, dark caramel and roasty bread crust. The taste has the caramel, a bit too sweet/sugary, no roasty notes here, just some light hop bitterness. The body is thinnish and fizzy.

Clear deep brown. Large dense head of beige colour. Well-lacing. Aroma & taste: caramel, toast, dried fruit, brown bread, only a hint of roasted malts. Low to light bitterness. A surprisingly intense for its gravity dunkel-like beer

Can, 0.50l. Aroma of light roasted malt, chocolate, caramel and grass. Pours clear dark brown color with medium frothy tan-like head and sparkling appearance. Taste starts with medium sweet roasted malt and caramel, following is grassy and nutty with chocolate note, while finish is mild bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. A bit too sweet, but overall not bad...

0,5 l can. Pours clear reddish brown with big dense lasting light tan head. Aroma of malt, bread, caramel, a hint of chocolate, kind of stale. Flavor is somewhat better, it follows aroma without staleness. Taste is medium sweet with very little bitterness. Body is very light, texture almost watery. Carbonation is average. Finish is short and unremarkable. Way too sweet, but still drinkable.

Canned 500ml. -from local Konzum Zagreb. Brown coloured, small pale beige head, dusty caramel nose. Toasted malt, caramel, notes of brown sugar and metal with rather sweet finish. Some discreet dried fruits touch but still nothing to make this beer better.

Can, 0.5l. Clear deep ruby pour, two finger frothy beige head - courtesy of violent pour. Some lacing. Slightly sweet nose with faint cocoa notes. Thin body, medium carbonation. Medium texture, surprisingly not completely watery. Taste is... sweet. Sugary sweet. Aroma not that horrible actually. Quite malty with caramel notes. Faint cocoa. Interesting cappuccino-like aftertaste. Loads of brown sugar - it overpowers pretty much everything else. Finishes slightly dry and sweet. Overall, meh. Too sweet for my tastes. It is better then other Edelmeister beers but that's not really saying much. Borderline drinkable effort.
