Ballyhoo is a collaboration with Cloudwater. it’s an imperial fruit sour. we’ve blended two different batches of soured beer to naturally achieve a 7.0% abv base beer. Into that, we blended strawberry, raspberry and blueberry puree to give it a summer pudding finish. Its thick and fruity, sour and tangy glass of summer.
Goes well with Northern soul and Southern funk.
Featuring Paul Jones, Cloudwater head honcho.

150ml on tap at Agenturet Øl og Vinbar. Misty dark reddish body, bubbles on the surface, scattered lacing. Moderate smell of mid-sweet berries. Mixed taste profile of mid-tart and sweet strawberries and raspberries, earthy malts beneath. Slightly jam-like impression. Fair enough, not a favourite. (Tromsø 06.11.2019).

Can at home in Hackney - sourced from online. Pours opaque reddish purple with a quickly receding pink head. Quite a nice beer, with lovely jammy berries, moderate acidity, subtle seedy bitterness, raspberries, red currants. Medium bodied with spritzy, massaging carbonation. Quenching finish, more vibrant, jammy fruits, tart berries, nips of salt. Delicious.

Draft. A hazy red beer with a lazing pink head. The aroma has notes of raspberries, lactose, lemons, and wheat. The flavor is sour with notes of lemons, raspberries, strawberries, lactose, and wheat, leading to a tart finish. Very refreshing.
