Friends & Family & Beer is more than a festival - it's a wider celebration of community, creativity and independent values. To emphasise this, we're brewing a series of collaborations with our friends, and donating 5% of profits from each to charity. First up are the trailblazers from Odell Brewing Co. We combined their pioneering approach to bright, clean, hoppy beer with our own signature style to create an IPA that's juicy, yet precise and refreshing, hopped exclusively with some of our favourite, bold English varietals.

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5

Can from Cloudwater online shop. Clear amber body with a thick off-white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of marmalade and earth. Flavour of blueberry and grass. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. A good example of what British hops are capable of. But for an IPA I still prefer US and Aus/NZ varieties.

Can from Cloudwater online. Amber colour with an off white head. Aroma marmalade citrus and pine. Taste bittersweet citrus and slight juicy. Full body.

Can at home, from CW online, 30/03/20. Lightly hazed golden amber with a decent light egg shell white cap of thinly knit bubbles. Nose is orange zest, airy malts, grapefruit, light pine, grass, melon. Taste comprises mellow tropical fruits, creamy malts, melon, grass, orange peel, toasted malts, light pine. Medium bodied, fine massaging carbonation, semi drying close kissed with balanced lightly juicy hop bitterness. Decent well balanced and easy drinking IPA.
