Feeling the bite of the British winter, we decided to riff on two classic styles typically best enjoyed when its cold outside. Combining the smooth, clean body and strength of a Baltic Porter with the rich malt profile and yeast aromatics from a traditional Brown Ale, this hybrid is multi-layered and remarkably full-flavoured without sitting heavy on the palate.

Can from Honest Brew. Clear dark brown body with a beige head. Faint lacing. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of cherry and caramel. Flavour of prune and toffee. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. A tasty beer that has many similarities with the best Doppelbocks I’ve had.

A rather think bodied beer for being 7%. However it is super clean and mildly tasty. Nice take on the style. Cloudwater Manchester
