To see the hop cone up close, we zoomed in microscopic, and found a hi-res view. In Hi-Resolution, the hop optic was magnified; our perception, fully amplified. It’s microscopic. It’s telescopic. It’s off-topic. It’s Mad Science.
Let’s talk optics. The study of light, and the eyeball… aka the prism that sends images blasting through your dome like a movie projector. As technology advances, resolution increases, so we can see the bigger picture AND the finer details. We’re increasing the view -- in BOTH directions… Magnify the hop factor, amplify perception. Study the hop cone up close… this shiz is Hi-Resolution. We went microscopic; we got a grander view. Crack a HI-RES and widen your scope, both directions.
With massive amounts of late-addition, new-age hops, HI-RES magnifies juicy hop character to the limits of human perception, testing your palate’s ability to comprehend the tiny particles in hops, and the insane flavors they produce.

Flavored marshmallows, orange, pineapple, grapefruit, lemon aroma. Clear amber, medium head, good lacing. Sweet and juicy pineapple, rosehip, papaya, and grapefruit. Bitter resinous end, grapefruit mainly. Medium body, easy carbonation, but quite hot. If you like a fruity IPA, you may just fall in love with this.

On tap at New England Taphouse grille. Lightly hazy orange amber color with a decent head. Huge pine with lots of tropical fruits and some big apricot in the nose and flavor. Solid bready caramel backbone and a hint of ethanol. Enjoyed the hell out of this sipper.

12 oz. can, pours a clear darker golden with a medium beige head. Nose is huge on hop resins, hop oils, and a little alcohol. Flavour is intense, with a humungous blast of resinous hops, balanced by low-to-moderately sweet caramel malts, and a little alcohol burn. Remarkably well-balanced for a triple IPA -- these often fail to impress me due to being rough and unbalanced. Really intense flavours, but nothing harsh at all despite the slight alcohol burn. Excellent stuff.

Om nom nom. Couldn’t rate this after the first few sips as my tongue went numb, but this beer came to life as it warmed up. Lots of hoppy goodness on the nose plus some sweet resin. In the mouth the alcohol is certainly prominent (see: tongue, numb) but well integrated. The taste is full of grapefruit but there are also a few floral flavours. A 500ml "whistler" of this from Tru Bru is keeping me very warm and happy on the couch.

Pours hazy amber with a large fading head.Nose shows tons of sweet syrupy malt, some lychee, a bit of pine. Very malty. Some booze.Flavours include truckloads of sweet confectionery malt, almost cloying. Massive bitterness to balance. Some pine and resinous hops. Very full-on but the booze isn’t all that prominent.Very syrupy body. Nice high carbonation.
