Hoppy (of course!) , more so in the taste than in the nose. Piney, citrusy, mildly astringent, some malt. Deep golden color with off white foamy head. surprisingly smooth despite the hops snap.

Bottle from Total Wine, Bellevue, Washington, USA. A dark golden coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, malty, citrus aroma. Taste is similar, hoppy, malty, citrus, pine. Decent IPA from Uinta.

very sweet, nice appearance tons of pine, bit of maltiness but very sweet for an IPA. There’s some orange notes but mostly a lot of pine Very odd beer indeed.

Poured from the tap. Clear medium yellow with minimal white head. J Hoppy aroma. Resiny hop taste. Mild citrus.

Bottle: Poured a orangey/bright amber color ale with a medium size foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of fresh citrus and light piney notes with lightly sweet malt backbone is quite enjoyable. Taste is a mix between some citrus notes with some light piney and fruity hoppy notes as well as a lightly sweet malt backbone (but no caramel malt which is nice). Body is quite full with good carbonation. Easy drinking with plenty of flavours.

Tap at Draught 55 wasting away my sunday afternoon. nice nose of pungent hops and juicy citrus. tastes of grapefruits, earth, dank hops, vegetal, woody, and toasted malt. pretty nice fun beer to get this weekend over with

I cracked open a bottle of Uinta Hop Notch I picked up from Sugaya for maybe 5-600 yen. 7.3% Lovely classic IPA golden amber color with a great aroma of fruits, hint of grape, mild funk, very appetizing. Great flavor, fruity & rich at first with a sparkling mouthfeel. Then followed by a clean piney sweet finish & a great aftertaste. Not bitter at all beyond a fleeting hint of bitter pine near the end. Rich, complex, definitely a top shelf IPA!

Dark amber color, huge foamy head leaves lots of lacing. Pine aroma. Medium body, malty and sticky oily mouthfeel. Tastes pine, hops bitter. Pretty good.

Bottle at Endo’s house, cheers Frank, 22/05/13. Hazed golden amber with a thin off white head. Nose is caramel malt, pine, hops, bitter grapefruit, grass, orange pith. Taste comprises hops, big old pine bite, bitter grapefruit, topical fruit notes. Medium bodied with fine carbonation, big dose of agressive hop bitterness in the finish. I likey - SOLID !
