Grass and earthy hop aroma with a minor citrus hop hint in the back. Orange aroma comes out as it warms. Biscuity malt. Pours a clear orange with a full white head. Flavor leans toward a balance of citrus and sourdough bread malt. Moderate high bitterness and a sweet finish. As it warms, some alcohol warmth starts to show. Overall, a little underwhelming and not robust.

12oz bottle from Georgio’s, Billerica, MA. Amber with a thin white head; citrusy aroma; malty body with a grapefruit taste; and a clean fresh, long-lasting, grassy bitter finish. Well balanced, and easy to drink.

Can from the Lazy Dog Pours s lightly hazy dark golden color that borders on amber with a huge fluffy whit head that persists for quite a while. Aromas of citrus and pine with some faint green onions and a solid hit of bready caramel malt to back it up. The flavor is actually quite malt forward with lots of sweet bread and rich caramel and toffee notes. Pine, resin, and a bit of green onion flavor provides a bit of balance. Firm hop bitterness. Medium body with a light to moderate level of carbonation and a sweet almost syrupy and resinous mouthfeel. My can shows a best before 1/25/14 I’m not sure when that means it was bottled, but I found this a bit malty for an IPA. Decent enough and drinkable, but I’d grab something else before this again.

Bottle. Light amber body. Frothy off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit, resin, toasted grain. Hint of tropical fruit. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. The usual resin and grapefruit hop flavors, but some sweetness help balance those along with some fruit flavors.

Had at a friends place while bottling home brew. Poured an amber color with a small white head. Aroma was lots of fresh citrus notes, grapefruit is light, some tropical notes of mangoes. Flavor was some pine hops, grass notes, and a nice sweet malt backing.
