Backlog February 2009. Clear reddish amber body under a dense beige head. Strong aroma of caramel malt. Taste is sweet caramel malt, some bitterness and relatively light bodied for the style. Fair enough.

Bottle with swingtop 0,5 ltr: Very dark almost black clear colored brew with an dry bitter taste with some sweetness, hints of chocolate, roasted malts, fruitiness and caramel.

50cl flip-top bottle from SuperAlko, Tallinn. Pours dark mahogany coloured with a tanned head. Malty and caramelly with roasty notes and hints of chocolate. Medium sweet with low to medium flavour intensity. Quite drinkable.

50 cl bottle. Dark brown/black. Big beige head. Chocolate, caramel , roasted malts with some pleasant fruitiness/esters that makes all the difference . Medium to light body.

Bottled. Pretty nice and easy drinking as advertised but for whatever reason I preferred some of the other schwarz’s out there.

Bottle. Great beer. Coffee, chocolate, nutty malt flavor with good balance of hops. Dark, dark brown color. Nice head. Burnt toast aroma. More, I need more.

Bottle at Ganz, courtesy of Zozo. Black pour with a long lasting brown head. Nose is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee. Taste is nicely baalnced bittersweet, showing toffee, dark malts, coffee, roasted notes and coffee. Closes with an earthy, coffeeish finish, has a light to medium, somewhat crisp body and average carbonation. Decent.

Аромат суховат, много солода полу жженого, тонки кофе ощущаются. Цвет темный, но не плотный. Пенка средняя, быстро падает. Вкус неплохого шварца. Много снова солода уже более сухого чем в аромате, сразу за ним много оттенком кофе. Послевкусие с кислинкой, сухое, немного хлеба и дрожжей. В целом неплохой темный лагер.
