Bottle shared with JMD on board Fridtjofen 03.09.20. Clear dark golden. Dark head and lacing. Fine aroma and taste of peach, nectarins, cherry and plum pits. Good.

Thank you Kraddel! 250 ml. bottle sampled. BBF 1991. Pours amber with a patchy off-white head. Nose is massive artificial candy-like oxidized peach candy sweetness, artificial sweeteners galore & light yoghurt, very sweet oxidation layered on top. Carbonation is clear, massive sweetness & oxidation are evident in the body. Taste is mix of massive artificial sweetness, sickeningly sweet oxidation, artificial peach candy,… As I have noticed in the past, beers with this much added sweetness & artificial elements preserve quite well, they remain largely similar with only minor off-notes (largely obscured by the massive sweetness). This one is still okay for what it is but it is horribly, almost nauseatingly sweet.

Pours clear orange. No head. Smell is prachtig , sweet . taste is sugary, peach. Quite good on carbonation. Pretty drinkable, surprisingly.

8/II/15 - 25cl bottle @ Vintage Tasting Brugs Bierfestival - BBE: 1991 (2015-167)
Clear dark orange beer, irregular off-white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: sweet, peach candy, sugary, fruity touch. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet, peaches, sugary, peach candy, little oxidized. Aftertaste: bit sourish, lemony, fruity, slightly oxidized, bit aged but note much, peach candy. Wow, this held up amazingly well, for 24 years!

Bottle thanks to Rainer. Pours a clear orange with small off white head. The aroma is strong peach and funk. Thin mouthfeel with strong sweet peach and mango. Decent.

Another sweet fruit ’lambic’, if you can still call them that, in the St.-Louis range; comparable to Lindemans Pêcheresse, but even sweeter and more sugary, more one-dimensional and with even lower traces of lambic in nose and mouth. Not for me - this product was launched in 1988 and has apparently been discontinued now, but I won’t miss it one bit.

Bottle at the Copenhagen Beer Celebration Tune-Up, London. Pours light gold with a fine, white film head. Artificial peach nose. Hugely sweet flavor with ripe, artificial peach. Light bodied with fizzy carbonation. Sweet, lightly tart and highly artificial peach finish. This is alco-pop.

Bottle at my Pre-CBC Tune-Up Tasting. It pours orange, with a thin white head. The nose is sweet peach, artificial notes and white sugar. The taste is sweet fruit, peach, artificial, sugar, hint of tanginess and gummy bears. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Far too sweet and one-dimensional. I am not perverse enough to enjoy this.

Bottle. Clear golden amber color, medium white head. Aroma has tons of fruit. Taste starts sweet, but sours slightly near the end. Not bad.

375ml bottle from Bevmo
Appearance: Slightly cloudy orange/amber with a nice white head and some lacing
Aroma: Peaches and some mild tartness
Taste: Sweet malts at first sip then it changes to tart peaches
Nice fruit beer. Easy to drink.
