300 ml bottle. Purchased at the Super Food in Palm Beach, Aruba. Pours a cloudy pale yellow color with a small dense creamy beige head. Nose is all wheat, clove and banana. Flavor is same as nose with lot’s of yeasty, doughy flavor. Finish clean and lemony.

Bottle sample at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks kerenmk. Hazy golden. Aroma of banana, yeast, bread, a bit of bubblegum, a grainy touch and a spicy note. Sweetish and bready flavor, a bit grainy, with fruity esters, a bit of bubblegum and some spiciness. Easy-drinking.

330 mml bottle tasted on 30/06/2014. Hazy golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of banana, cereals and yeast. Taste is citrus, a little watery, yeasty and sweet. Nothing special in this comercial weizen. Next one please!

Bottled from Mitra Bunnik, BB 08 2014, large sample, poured into a tulip (didnt want to fetch my hefeweizen glass from behind lots of other glasses). Hazy to cloudy golden to orange color, medium lasting slight off-white head. Aroma of slight banana, but a bit more clove, slight grainy wheat. Quite typical hefeweizen. Slight sweet in taste, bit bitter, slight candy sweetness. Bit high on carbonation, but thats common with this style, light to medium bodied. I prefer them to be a bit more towards banana and a bit thicker in body, but for a macro this is a very decent example.
