Robe limpide aux jolis reflets verts. Nez frais mêlant notes végétales (menthe poivrée) et maltées. Bouche étonnamment ronde (miel d’acacia) pour une bière légère, finale ultra rafraîchissante. Origine houblon: vallée de la Rulles.

From tap. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grassy and slight estery. Mild fruity. Grassy and slight straw. Bitter. Medium dry. Grassy and al far finish.

12/VI/16 - 75cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ home - BB: 16/X/16 (2016-650)

Clear bright blond beer, big aery off-white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very grassy, some banana, herbal, malty, grains, hay, some citrus. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: hoppy start, some citrus, bit malty, pretty bitter, little fruity. Aftertaste: bitter hops, grassy, slightly fruity, metallic touch, very bitter, bit spicy, coriander touch.

750ml Bottle at home, 24th April 16. Pours a peachy straw colour, nice lacing. Aroma is grass, yeast, slight citrus. Taste is bitter, fresh cut grass, some yeast, slight funk. Nice and easy drinking

Sampled draft @ Delirium Tap House. Hazy golden, creamy white head. Nose is quite neutral, yeast, sugar, caramel, white bread, hay, flowers, there is a small touch of green hop but it is barely there. Taste is pretty neutral white sugar, caramel, hay, white bread, candy, no real hop, sugar, flowers,… White bread. Mild, sweet, quite neutral, rather bland,… Okay as a strongly neutral inoffensive beer but they really should have not called this one Houblon Sauvage, any hop presence is virtually impossible to grasp.

Bouteille 75cl, BB 16/10/2016. Couleur dorée, col blanc épais et tenace. Au nez, un bouquet agréable tirant des effluves nobles alternant entre un léger fleuri et citronné frais. Retrouve des vertus proche d’un Saaz-Hallertauer. En rétro-nasal, je note un léger grains type malt pils qui s’apparente fortement, en comparant mes notes, à la Rulles pils. Palais reste axé sur un profil malté unique de pils, le tout est sec, ’crisp’ et balancé par une belle fraicheur de bouche des houblons, note verte herbacée accompagné d’un léger fleuri et fruité. L’effervescence est entre moyenne-sur haute, le dry-hopping ajoute ce caractère qui fait ressortir les houblons. Le tout garde une base très pils. Solide, à boire au soleil et en terrasse.
