bottle. clear orange, smooth thick offwhite head. crisp but still sweet aroma of flowery hops, orange frut hops, a little grapefruity hops, and a good sweet malty balance. Very impressively fullbodied aroma at only 5.5% abv. flavor is somewhat bitter hoppy, somewhat malty - but lots less full bodied than the aroma indicated. hop flavor is mostly bitter, with a flowery note. not much sweet malts.

Sample at the brewpub. Pours a hazy orange-amber color with a medium thin white head that evaporates steadily. Top ring of lace with spots underneath. Aroma of hops and citrus. Medium body with a mildly hoppy and fruity character with sweet malt undertones. The finish is hoppy with a citrus aftertaste. Decent APA overall.

A very pleasant pale ale from just across the Golden Gate. It’s a great looking beer with a strong golden color and a big sticky head. It smells of piney hops but could hit a bit harder. The hops are more citric on the tongue and nicely bitter. There’s some good, balancing malt, but the whole package is a bit restrained and understated which is good and bad. It’s a very drinkable beer with a smooth feel and an understated flavor.

Sampled at the brewpub. Transparent yellow/amber with a thin cloudy white head. Floral aroma, slightly piney, earthy with some crackers. Flavor is spicy, white pepper, pine, grapefruit but not aggressive. Dry finish, very little lasting bitterness. Session beer for sure.

Draft at the brewpub. An amber beer with a lazing offwwhite head. The aroma is sweet and quite hoppy - in the spicy sense. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and spicy hops, leading to a bitter finish where notes of citrus fruits appear.
