Draft @ Jacks Canery, SF. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Has a malty floral hoppy aroma with some hints of caramel. Sweetish malty hoppy flavor with some hints of caramel. Has a sweetish malty hoppy finish.

Convincing citrus aroma. This is going to be good. Medium dark amber color with a white head that leaves big bubbles in the middle and laces lightly on the fringes. Super citrus start, but there is a strong malt accompaniment. For some reason burnt rubber comes to mind. That doesn’t seem to be a bad thing here, it just comes to mind. The bitter is fantastic, and it seems to finally hide the malt. The finish leaves grapefruit around the back edges of the tongue. Rather full bodied, reasonably carbonated. Fairly long grapefruity finish.

(Bottle 65 cl) Slightly hazy amber golden with a creamy, off-white head leaving some lacework. Weak aroma of citrus. Medium-bodied, lightly sweet malt and lovely fruity notes of peaches and a whiff of citrus. The finish is dry with a subdued bitterness. A straight APA without any fuss. 280307

Bottle from Bottle Barn; Nose of citrus and piney hops; Slightly hazy copper with a nicely lacin, medium offwhite head; Well balanced with lemony hop bitterness and light caramel from the medium body, with a bit of bitterness lasting to the finish. A very good APA, very good body!

Bottle. Copper colored with a great long-lasting off-white head. Good hoppy, fruity, citrus aroma with a caramel malt backing. Good hop flavor, very fruity, not overly bitter. Claen and smooth. Needs more malt backing to balance. Finish is light and dies quickly.

Bottled. Brownish clear amber. Cascade fragrant. Sweet and clean with medium body and loads of lychee-like hop flavour. Medium bitterness. A hugely aromatic APA.

This pours out a beautiful deep gold with a creamy head. Fragrant hop aroma with a nice malt support. Sweet and crisp flavor with a very nice bitter finish. Very nice Pale Ale.

Appearance: medium amber with a small head. Very little smell at all. Taste is kind of a plain, ordinary roasted malt. Not my favorite at all. I think this beer is rather un-pale-ale-like.

Cloudy amber; Pleasant hop aroma; harsh hops on the palate, astringency, little malt. Maybe not at its best, but not gone off far enough to know for sure. Need another bottle.
