From me wife: pours golden with a white head. Aroma is floral, grainy, grassy, light pine. Taste is lightly bitter. Solid drinker. Not super impressed in general by it.

Draft at mikkeller sf. Aroma of pine, amber malt and citrus. Taste has soft caramel, sticky amber malt, pine and a bitter hoppy finish. Nice.

Aroma has real fresh tank tops and plenty of caramel malt to balance. Flavor has more of a resin character to it. It’s good, nice drinking.

From tap at the brewery. Clear golden color with white to off white head. Malty and hoppy aroma, bread, caramel, grass, pine, citrus. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

4 oz pour on draft at Faction during the RateBeer Best 2017 bus tour. Shared by a friend, thanks Ed! Clear golden yellow with off-white head. Aromas of tropical fruit, citrus, malt, light floral notes. Tastes of citrus, floral notes, malt. Medium body with a dry finish.

Tap. Pours cloudy amber. Aroma shows the good west coast APA, light tropical fruits, mango, lightly citric. Body is medium with a rather crisp carbonation, lots of residual sweetness. Smooth. Lingering fruity palate. Nothing about this beer is outstanding or new, but it is very well done.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear orange gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is orange peel, grass, earth. Medium body, citrus, orange zest, pine, nice bitterness, good.

[ As Faction Flagship Pale Ale ].Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, hop oil.
