Dark brown color. Smoked katsuobushi, chocolate, molasses in the nose. Medium body, very smooth, low carbonation. Alcohol is so well hidden. Perfectly integrated. Modest hops. Super well executed. Excellent

Tap at CBC 2016 Yellow session. Poured almost black with a frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, dry coffee, some chocolate. The flavour is moderate sweet with a dry coffee malt, light fruit, light alcohol palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation. A superb beer but lacking body to be a real great.

Tap at CBC 2016, Yellow session. Bubbly, tan-coloured head leaving spotty lacing on the tasting glass. Coal black body with a rustic shade. Rich roasted dark malty nose, hints of coffee. Solid dark malty flavours of coffee, chocolate and earth followed by a backdrop of dark berries. Lingering rosted malty ending. Full bodied. One of my best at the festival (Copenhagen 13.05.2016).
