Our Golden Gate Gose is a special draft-only beer inspired by the classic wheat beer hailing from Leipzig, Germany. Traditionally brewed with salt and coriander, our tart California-inspired version is brewed with San Francisco Bay sea salt, lemon verbena and coriander grown especially for us by Dirty Girl Produce in Santa Cruz, California. Fermented with our house saison yeast, this delicate and tart beer is a perfect summer refresher. Pair with fresh seafood and sunshine.

On tap at McGillicuddy’s, Williston, VT.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a light transparent yellow color with some carbonation rising at a nice pace. No head and obviously no lacing.
The smell started off with lemon, lime, lightly rimmed salt. The \"sour-ed\" wheat portion is extremely light but really good.
The taste was sour through the wheat portion. Saltiness balances appropriately. Lemon and lime come back - slightly bitter yet tart. Nicely structured citrusy aftertaste. Finishes pleasantly balanced between the citrus and salt.
On the palate, this one was definitely light bodied which gave it a great sessionability. Since the \"sour-ness\" is tame enough, the sessionability really becomes spectacular.
Overall, if this is canned, I’d want cans for fishing this Summer. Really great gose!

Bought in a liquor store in Belmont, CA. Clear golden in the glass. Taste starts malty with citrus, in the second row some salty elements and sourness. Increasung citrus in the middle part. Getting dry to the end. A nice one of its kind.

From the bottle. Massively hazy pale yellow with sustained and fluffy white head. Lemon and salt mixture make for a refreshing summer drink. Mouthfeel was medium thin.

Bomber shared by Mick. 5% It pours a clear brassy gold with a peachy, tart lactic acid aroma. Light tart, acidic, peach, some bile but overall not too shabby. A good palate cleanser. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sourish-fruity, minimally funky taste of lemon peel, straw, grapefruit, rhubarb and gooseberry, followed by a short, moderately tart finish. Thin to medium body, spritzy mouthfeel. Good!
