We indulged in our desire to create an IPA that personifies the vivid flavors that can be coaxed from the hop cone, painted on a canvas of soft malt that allows the flavors to shine through. Extensively hopped in the kettle and in the fermentor, we spared nothing in making this beer.
Epiphany was designed to showcase the glorious flavor and aromatics of hops without any astringent bitterness.
Citrus, tropical fruit and pine blend to provide you with a sublimely juicy hop experience.
East or west coast? No. This is a Maine IPA.

Starchy like Nimbleprop says. Orange marmalade. Hazy orange pour. Candy marmalade finish. Maybe past it's prime, but unimaginative.

16oz can pours a murky orange juice color, some lacey white head. Nose has oranges, light pineapple, some grain, some wheat. Flavor has big tropical orange and perfume and Bay Breeze vibes. Some booze. Finishes full bodied, off dry. Spritzy. A touch starchy on the end.

16oz can from Foundation Brewing, Portland. Drunk on our motel balcony in Bar Harbor. Pours a hazed golden orange, good white head. Drinks quite light, smooth bodied with sweet malt and orangey suggestions.. mild pulpiness.. good stuff overall.

Pours a nice hazy gold from a can. Big pine aroma, some stone fruit. Similar flavor, pretty good beer.

Cloudy bright medium orange body, thick cream head. Nose orange/tangerine juice, passionfruit, and papaya. Body a burst of citrus and tropical fruits, blended so not particularly distinct individually, with elements of tangerine, pink grapefruit, lime, papaya, and guava. It's a rather boozy affair, and there's a lingering hops burn in the finish that was unexpected. I'll probably give this one another go sometime, as it is so close to being very good.
