A traditional farmhouse ale made with a very expressive yeast strain that contributes an array of tropical fruit, spice flavors and aromatics. Brewed with a variety of harvest grains including barley, wheat, oats and rye as was likely the case with farmhouse brewers of yore. The result is a complex, refreshing and distinctive example of this esoteric style. Intensely fruity (passion fruit, pineapple, mango, lychee), slightly spicy (clove, white pepper)

Pours yellowish from the bottle with a light haze. Aroma is yeasty, light minerals and spice. Taste is mildly sweet, tart, with touches of white bread, lemon and clove. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation prickly. Overall not bad, mildly refreshing, but the water on the palate is unhelpful.

Beer share at Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury; 11th June 2018. I brought this 355ml bottle to the table (BB 27th Jul 2018). Poured a misty golden colour with a full white crown on each glass. Yeasty aroma and taste with some sweetness not often found in this style, liked it.
