A traditional farmhouse ale made with a very expressive yeast strain that contributes an array of tropical fruit, spice flavors and aromatics. Brewed with a variety of harvest grains including barley, wheat, oats and rye as was likely the case with farmhouse brewers of yore. The result is a complex, refreshing and distinctive example of this esoteric style. Intensely fruity (passion fruit, pineapple, mango, lychee), slightly spicy (clove, white pepper)

Light hay and some citrus. Florals. Decent balance. Easy drinking even though nothing special like happy hour. Bottle.

Bottle from Reading Beer Festival. Hazy yellowy-gold with a middling white head and a light fizz. Banana-y Belgian yeast, white pepper, smooth, fresh brown bread and a little sweet lemon. Sweetish with a very mild bitterness at the end. Very pleasant; a little lighter in flavour than many saisons but very drinkable as a result. I enjoyed this.
