A traditional farmhouse ale made with a very expressive yeast strain that contributes an array of tropical fruit, spice flavors and aromatics. Brewed with a variety of harvest grains including barley, wheat, oats and rye as was likely the case with farmhouse brewers of yore. The result is a complex, refreshing and distinctive example of this esoteric style. Intensely fruity (passion fruit, pineapple, mango, lychee), slightly spicy (clove, white pepper)

Yellow, hazy, slightly lively beer with a filmy head. Lemony, floral, bready smell. Flavour takes the same direction, a bit of sweet lemon in an otherwise savoury, floral taste. Feels a touch watery. Decent though.

12oz bottle at home. Bottled 01/08/2015. golden almost clear color, small white head. smells of berry notes, dusty, tobacco, spices, bit yoghurty, bit weird smell. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes citric, spices, flowery, light yeasty, light herbs. finishes light dry with notes of spices and some yeast. decent one, smells was kinda weird but taste is quite drinkable.

Clear orange-tinted golden coloured body with a thin, single centimetre tall white head. Aroma of dry oak, grass, hay, flowers, yeast, coriander seed and a touch of corn noticeable. Light-bodied; Sharp grassy and floral note up front with a mellow malt flavour with only some grass notes and a bit of very light hops. Aftertaste is relatively mild with some grass, herbs, hops and a faint bit of hay - not much going on here. Overall, a pretty subdued and very easy-to-drink saison with a nice, but very light profile - nice and simple to drink! I sampled this stubby twelve ounce bottle purchased from Beer Culture in New York (Midtown), New York on 27-November-2015 for US$3,00 sampled at home in Washington on 28-February-2016.

Bottle pour into tulip glass. Appearance is hazy yellow with 1-2 finger-width fizzy white head with poor retention and no lacing. Nice sparkle. Aroma is mild Belgian yeast and associated fruity esters, mild bubblegum, crackers. Taste is mix of fruity sweet dominant over tart, maybe some mild pepper. Palate is light bodied with thin texture and lively-to-fizzy carbonation. Overall, on the money for the style but a bit on the light side with mild aroma and taste with thin palate. From the look, I was expecting something a little thicker.

12 fl. oz. bottle bought at Bierzwerg bottle shop, Greven. Unclear pale orange in the glass, small white head. Wheat, yeast and some fruit on the nose. Taste is fruity, pleasant sweetness, little bit dry, wheat. Some spicy hints in the background. Light, refreshing and easy to drink in a positive way.
