A traditional farmhouse ale made with a very expressive yeast strain that contributes an array of tropical fruit, spice flavors and aromatics. Brewed with a variety of harvest grains including barley, wheat, oats and rye as was likely the case with farmhouse brewers of yore. The result is a complex, refreshing and distinctive example of this esoteric style. Intensely fruity (passion fruit, pineapple, mango, lychee), slightly spicy (clove, white pepper)

Tap @ Beer Temple (taster size). Pale blonde color, hazy/cloudy. Dense white head with good retention. Aroma’s: citrus, sour fruit, a bit dusty, grainish. A bit of caramel retronasal as well. Flavor is light sweet (caramel) with a hint of bitterness. Light bodied. A bit dry finish with a light earthy bitterness.

Flaska från Mikkeller&Friends. Gyllengul klar vätska, vitt lågt skum. Stiltypisk belgisk saison med mycket karaktär. Torr, krispig och lite oljig munkänsla. Kryddig, fruktig, jästig, estrig i trevlig kombination. Jordig, gräsig och örtig, vitpepper, nejlika, lätt pepprig och gräsig beska, lätt tropisk fruktighet. Fin smakbild. Mycket god

Draught sample @ Monks American Bar courtesy if the staff. Thank you! Pours pale golden with a frothy white head that doesn’t leave much trace while dissipating. Smell is heavy phenolic with crackers, biscuits, baked pears, lemon hard candy, buttered bread, hay and dry soil. Taste is tiny sweet and phenolic with buttered white bread, plums, baked pears, apple skins, pepper corns, dry soil, grapefruit rinds and hay. Mouthfeel is slightly dry, slightly round, soft and light to medium bodied. Finish is phenolic with buttered white bread, pears, apples, orange zest, dry soil, pepper corns and hay, too phenolic and too buttery I’m afraid,

On tap at Christian Firtal. Hazy golden with a lasting white head. Fruity aroma with spicy and herbal notes. Dry and refreshing with both authentic spicy-yeasty Belgian character and a little American extra spark

Bottle 35,5 cl. Pours an almost clear yellow with a white head. Very fruity and lightly phenollic aroma. Fairly light-bodied, slightly citrusy, very fruity esters and quite some yeast. Ends very dry. No biggie, but a light and pleasantly quaffable Saison. 270314
