A traditional farmhouse ale made with a very expressive yeast strain that contributes an array of tropical fruit, spice flavors and aromatics. Brewed with a variety of harvest grains including barley, wheat, oats and rye as was likely the case with farmhouse brewers of yore. The result is a complex, refreshing and distinctive example of this esoteric style. Intensely fruity (passion fruit, pineapple, mango, lychee), slightly spicy (clove, white pepper)

Bottle at Craig’s. Pours pale yellow with a thin white head. Aromas of bread, lemon. Taste is similar. Pretty pish to be honest.

Bottle. Pours cloudy gold white head. Nose/taste of lemongrass, light toast, old pineapple/citrus, white pepper and clove. Hazy gold beer, good white head. Palate is airy and crisp. Mild minerals. Airy floral malts, just slight sweetness. Nice mild lemony citrus. Semi dry finish. A simple, clean and very drinkable saison. Nice job.

Tap at Fette Sau. Bright amber colored. Nose of caramel, earth, Belgian yeast spiciness. Fruity flavor, peach, orange, eatery, gain and earthy. A bit less than I want.

Appearance: Hazy, light yellow - almost piss-like. Tiny amount of head.
Aroma: Banana, spices, yeast.
Taste: More banana, spices, fruit. Slight wheat. Watery?

355ml bottle. Clear yellow-ish golden colour with average, diminishing, minimally lacing, white head. Saison typical yeasty aroma with vegetable touch, some lemon, herbal hoppy overtones. Taste is moderately sweet malty and fruity, notes of lemon, peach, a touch of mango, cautiously spicy yeasty overtones, some hoppy bitterness. Very explicit fruitiness, trimmed, civilised yeast "character".

A hazed blonde saison with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light grassy hops, banana, ok. In mouth, sweet fruity malt with light grassy hops, banana, cloves, light mineral notes, ok. On tap at Fette Sau.
