Mocha Machine is a well-engineered endeavor in massive aromatics and rich flavors. Brewed with an array British and German malts, this burly brew is infused with masterfully roasted coffee from Portola Coffee Lab in Costa Mesa, CA. It is then aged on cacao nibs from Ecuador, adding an awesomely deep dimension of fudge.

On tap in the Main St Wine Company, Huntington Beach on 11th January 2023. Black with a neat tanned foaming head. Coffee aromas and tastes rule the roost here, some sweetness in there too.

Draught @ Café Albert. Pours Black with a creamy light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, rich coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa. Flavor is sweet, light bitter, roast malt, coffee, coffee beans, chocolat, cocoa, light alcohol. Medium body, soft to average carbonation, sweet and light bitter finish. A bit thin for the ABV, allthough still nice. 150521

Beachwood Mocha Machine 9.2% Imperial Coffee Chocolate Porter Huge coffee aroma wafts from this deep inky black brew topped with a generous beige head that doesn’t linger. Full bodied with a somewhat spicy chocolate coffee flavor at first. Very smooth and satisfying though not super complex just put together perfectly. Apparently, it’s a two time GABF winner as well.

12oz from Denman LRS on Alex's deck. Appearance: brown with a beige head. Aroma: tons of coffee and green peppers. Taste: along the same lines with chocolate notes, quite sweet. Overall: pretty good, I wish no green peppers in here.

Tap, Ghetto Something, Koper. Pitch black, very large beige head, foamy and very lasting. Strong roasted coffee nose, cappuccino. Milder bitterness, some creamy and milky sweetness, quite roasted finish.Lasting aftertaste. Medium full body, silky. Too much coffee on the nose, but not on the taste.
