Old rating rerated 23.07.2018, tap @ Fischhaus Loos, Husum:
Nice creamy longlasting head, cloudy. Aroma is slightly sweet grassy, leafs, yeast, grass, minerals, wheat, ripe banana, flowers, hay. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish grassy, leafs, yeast, sour grass, minerals, wheat, ripe banana, flowers, paper. Medium bitterness, slightly watery and harsh sour-ish grassy mouthfeel. Fair enough, kind of boring.

33cl bottle, flip-top. From K-Citymarket Tammisto, Vantaa. Poured unclear golden color with a thick white head. banana, clove, wheat, typical hefeweizen aroma. Quite crisp, medium carbonation. Some clove, green banana and wheat in flavor. OK.

A light yellow beer, a head is big and blond. Aroma has sourness of wheat, some fruitness of banana, mildspicyness. Taste has wheat, mild fruitness, short. Medium bodied. There's nothing wrong, but somehow boring and mild.

Feb. '17. A 0.33 l fliptop bottle that poured a hazy yellow body with a small head. Lighter but decent aroma of bubblegum, lemon and banana with a touch of bread (yay, their signature obviously). Flavor was lightly tingling bitterish from carbonation, but otherwise on lightly sweet side as usual with decent wheat and banana notes. Bread grainy note was here and retained well into the finish. Body wasn't particularly full though, rather thin with high carbonation and tingling finish that wasn't very long either, chalky and banana estery. Lightly vinous here as well. Not particularly good Hefeweizen, just okay.

330 ml bottle into weizen glass, best before 5/10/2018. Pours moderately hazy golden yellow color with a 2 finger dense and rocky white head with amazing retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts the whole glass. Thick soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Perfect appearance. Aromas of big banana, bubblegum, clove, white pepper, lemon, orange, pear, apple, wheat, white bread dough, light herbal/grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, pale/wheat malt, and mild earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of banana, bubblegum, clove, white pepper, lemon, orange, pear, apple, wheat, white bread dough, light herbal/grass, and yeast earthiness. Mild herbal/grassy bitterness, yeast spiciness, and wheat tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of banana, bubblegum, clove, white pepper, lemon, orange, pear, apple, wheat, white bread dough, light herbal/grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, pale/wheat malt, and mild earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from bitter/spiciness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.1%. Overall this is a delicious hefeweizen! All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, pale/wheat malt, and mild earthy hop flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink with the mildly bitter/spicy finish. Perfectly balanced yeast/malts, and mild noble hops against sweetness. Flavorful and not watery feeling for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

330ml bottle into weizen glass. Cloudy golden amber beer with typical towering white head. High carbonation. Nose of spice and sweet bready malt. Slight spritz, light body. Finish has some chalky umami notes. Lots of sweet malt, some spice, a bit of sourness. Lightweight Hefe, just a quaffer.
