The Flensburger among the wheat beers. Golden colour, fresh, sparkling and naturally cloudy. The top-fermented beer specialty, brewed with finest wheat and barley malt, characterized by a fruity and refreshing taste.

Overpriced 0.33l fliptop from Victa in Split. Misty darker yellow-golden body with a smaller but lasting white head. Fine estery aroma, banana initially, red apple later on with a caramelly background. Nice light fruity and caramelly taste, good wheat presence, interesting ester profile, even pineapple?! Light but not excessively so, quite drinkable. Light yeasty and vaguely spicy-phenolic in the finish. Overall a very nice light wheat beer, great summer beer. While not the most memorable beer ever, it exceeded my expectations, thumbs up!

Drunk at home from a (very nice) bottle. Thick white foam, a nice yellow misty color. Taste is okay, but I miss the sweetness from other German weizen beer. It is okay overall, but there are better ones.

Bottle. Cloudy orange with a big foamy head that dissappears quickly. Aroma is bananas galore with a little bit of clove and lemons. Taste is bananas and yeast with some lemons added. Strong carbonation. Thin and watery. Solid and drinkable for sure but with so many better Hefeweizens at my disposal I doubt I will ever have this one again.

(Bottle, Café Pigo, Duved, Sweden, 22 March 2017) Pale golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, wheaty nose with notes of bread, citrus, toast, fruit salad and a light acidity. Malty, wheaty taste with bread, citrus, canned fruit and a low bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Not one of the most interesting wheat beers, but quite enjoyable.

11.2 oz. bottle. Pours pale gold with a white head. Aroma of wheat, grass, faint banana. Taste follows nose, with a bit of spice (faint) and yeast. Banana is there, but it’s quite subdued in this bottle. OK.

Boca 0.33L - pribavljeno iz Kauflanda - pomalo vodenast okus, s obzirom na cijenu i zanimljivu ambalažu ipqak samo ’obično’ pšenično pivo..

Bottle, 0.33l. Pours hazy orange body with two finger creamy white head. Ver good retention and nice, thick lacing. Nose is intense yeast and banana, typical hefe. Thin body with average to high carbonation. Surprisingly watery texture. Usual hefe taste and aroma with some slight sour notes. Wheat, yeast, banana, clove. Slightly herbal. No surprises here, textbook hefe - a bit watered down, though. Overall, lacking in body but still ok. Average.
