Weiherer / Cervejaria Bamberg Zapfenduster, Flasche von Aquatron, BA. - Tiefdunkles Kastanienbraun, trüb. - In der Nase Bitterschokolade, Mokka, feine Asche, milde herbale Herbe. - Antrunk sehr schwer dunkel- und röstmalzig, wie flüssige Bitterschokolade mit Mokka, ein wenig Lakritz, gekonnt aufgelockert durch feine zitrusfruchtige und herbale Hopfung. Mild rezent, ölig schwer, glatt; der Alkohol schmeckt leicht heraus. Im Abgang feine Malzbittere mit eleganten Hopfenspitzen. - Malzschweres, rundes Imperial Stout, nicht allzu komplex aber lecker. Bottle. Dark brown, very little head. Roasty caramel nose, really sweet & interesting grain aroma. Flavor is mild soy, lots of chocolate and black malt notes, slightly on the sweet side but enough bitterness to balance it.

Bottle. Darkest brown color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, earthy, liquorice. Taste is earthy, chocolate, bready, herbal, nice roast, quite dry finish. Silky mouthfeel with fine-bubbled carbonation. Balanced!

Schwarz wie die Nacht, zappenduster quasi, aber das hier heißt ja zapfenduster. Egal. In der Nase röstig, im Trunk schokoladig, Espresso, süffig süß, mittig nochmal schön Zartbitterschokolade, hohe Drinkability, keine Spur alkoholisch. Schöner langer Malzabgang.
