Une saveur jonglant à la fois avec fraîcheur et chaleur, alliant une bonne amertume.
Dès la première gorgée, elle couvre l’entièreté du palais où elle dégage une nouvelle sensation vivifiante, vanillée et un peu poivrée.

On tap. Pours with a hazy golden body and a white head. Aromas of grass, peach, nectarine, honey, hay and spice. Flavors are dry, spicy, grainy with some candi sugar. Some good esters, stone fruit. Lively bubbles, dry finish. Pretty vibrant and fresh tasting. Noteable hop presence for a triple.

Tap at Max’s. Hazy straw color, quite surprising for a Christmas beer. Aroma of white pepper and coriander, background notes of citrus. Decent body. Malt dominates the taste, but hops show up late. Tasty.

Clear orange, a few floaties, huge fluffy yet creamy head. aroma is bitter, citrussy, fruity. Flavor is bitter , very metallic, caramelly, faint overripe fruity, Definetly not easy to drink. it is not obviously spicy, but the off flavors could remind me of spices. too metlalic and strangely bitter for my taste.

Bottled at 3rd Brugs BF. Clear golden yellow colour, white head. Aroma is spicy, malty, sweet, a bit cloying perfume notes. Flavour is the same, lots of coriander/anise and a bit of grain in the finish. Medium bodied.

Bottled at Horsens Beerfestival. Golden body with a small white head. Aroma is citrus fruit, ginger and coriander. Flavor is sweet malty, rather spicy and some alcohol. Quite OK, but to sweet and spicy to drink to much of this.

Bottle at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Golden colour with firm, off-white head. Fruity nose with notes of apricots, mashed apples, grass and hay. Malty, fruity taste with apricots, apples, lots of grass, hay and spicy hops in a finish with a distinct alcohol bite. Medium body, starts fairly dry but turns sweeter towards the finish. Nice and interesting stuff. In short: mashed apples, grass and spicy hops.

33 cl. bottle. Dull gold color with a little white head. Sweet pale fruit aroma. Maybe a touch of spice. Rather lightly sweet with some mild pepper spice. Medium body with creamy carbonation. The heat is present, but doesn’t seem objectionable. Ok, but not an impressive tripel. Finishes neither sweet nor dry.

Bottle picked up from Onlyfineales.com Warm golden colour with rapidly diminishing white foamy head, I felt that as Christmas ales go this was sadly lacking, yeast fruit and spices are all there but I didn’t really think that this was that great.
