Clean, light bodied and a bit too crisp for a Helles

50cl swing top bottle. A clear yellow golden beer with a white head. Aroma of grainy pale malt, straw, soft sweet cereals. Taste of mild spicy and grassy hops, pale malt, straw, hints of flowers, moderate bitterness.

Pours a clear golden color with rising carbonation. Aroma is bready, slightly sweet and slightly vegetal.

Schnapp-Fläschle (Dank am See!): Golden, clear, medium-sized, loose and slowly collapsing white head, mild bitter-sweet grainy-herbal nose; mild to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, crunchy MF, not too light bodied; slightly lingering bitter-sweet grainy finish with a slightly drier bitter aftertaste. Not glorious, but well drinkable...

bottle from Balingen. Strawy yellow, tall white head. Malty nose and flavours, shy bitter and slightly aromatic hops with a grassy touch. Mild but not boring, good example of the style.
