330ml bottle. Jet black colour with average to huge, frothy, diminishing, minimally lacing, dark brown head. Roasty and chocolately, dark malty and sweet-ish, caramel malty aroma, notes of caramel, dark caramel, a touch of macaroon. Taste is roasty, minimally ashy, slightly chocolately, dark malty, slightly caramel malty, hints of treacle; bitter hoppy counterpart. Slightly viscous texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, scattered, mildly prickly carbonation. Not overly complex, nice ashy touch - so-so.

Bottle from Gabriel/Erzengel. Cheers. Dark. Cola brown in the light. Thick foamy beige head. Creamy coffee aroma with a dark berry streak. Medium bitter. Espresso, a touch of liquorice. Some lowkey creamy sweetness through dark chocolate. A tang of dark berries. Booze comes through into the finish. Medium-heavy bodied. Oily. Average carbonation. Long slightly astringent warming finish. Rich warming stuff.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing this one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass dark black, nice head. Intense roasty malty aroma. Starts strong, fine malty, roasty, some chocolate, mild sweetness. All in all well balanced. Finish warming malty. Nice one!

Bottle from Gall&Gall in Appingedam. Intense grainy nose. The beer starts deep roasted with a nice sticky bitterness. Smooth and oily, molasses, caramel, deep and sticky. Intense roasted bitter aftertaste, grainy and roasted with a nice caramelly dry bitterness. Nice.
