Bottle thanks to cgarvieuk. Appearance - dark brown to black and opaque. Nose - ginger, molasses and a bit of liquorice. Taste - ginger and wood spice generally. Molasses. Palate - medium to full bodied, tangy finish. Overall - good, but ginger in beers not my thing.

Can from a advent calendar. Color is clear pale but it has a slight orange or brown tint to it. For a wee heavy scotch its fairly well behaved on the taste buds. This attribute must be because its from the old country and not a fake brewdog from the USA? Oh, but now I see the label does say ohio. I'm liking this and its heavy alky content. Can barely tell there is any cranberry in there, but its there. Yea, so its brewed in ohio but listed as Scotland? Come now. So, I guess BD ohio does make something other than IPA, go figger. OK, I'm nor sure what is going on here but the label actually says its a cranberry and grapefruit IPA, what gives? I'm so confused. This brewdog labeling thing is straight up ass bullshit. OK, so I moved this to brewdog USA. I wonder how many other brewdog ratings I have in the wrong palce.

Auch mich konnte das Bier nicht wirklich begeistern. Außer der Tatsache, dass ich dieses Weihnachtsbier im März um -25% gekauft habe, bereitete es mir keine Freude. Es hat wohl einen vollen Körper und allerlei interessante Aromen nach eingelegten Füchten, allerdings sind einige von diesen Früchten schon etwas gammlig. So schwingt hinten raus ein muffiger Unterton mit. Ich brauche es nicht mehr.
