A dark beer, our Imperial Coffee Porter / Stout is produced with the most delicate roasted malts with the addition of a cold extraction, made with the greatest coffees grown by small producers from the best regions of the world.
The coffees are selected in collaboration with La Bottega delle Delizie, specialty coffee store in Bra (CN) and are roasted in Denmark by La Cabra Coffee Roaster, a modern roastery in Aarhus.
The coffee is cold extracted with the Cold Brew technique, and then added to the beer during the last bottling phase, thanks to which it retains all its aroma. It will leave you particularly amazed by how the coffee remains perfectly wrapped and integrated into the beer.
The current batch uses the “Sitio Irmãos Manzoli” coffee which is the name of the farm owned by João Manzoli. The coffee is 100% Arabica monovarietal Red Catuai, grown in a single field in the south-east of Brazil at 950mt of height, it is hand-picked and dry-processed after the fruit is “de-pulped”. The toasting is light, with notes of blueberry, chocolate and hazelnut.
