Pours a very hazy light yellow color, topped wit ha small and non-lasting white head. Lots of chunks, big ones, floating around - not a pretty sight. Quite lemony nose with some olive oil feel to it. Little grainy. Taste is herbal bittery with some citruses. Very light body. Fresh nose and fresh taste. medium lasting aftertaste. Couldn’t really pick up saffron. But quite lemony.

42nd Floor Tasting. Thanks to Paul. Light haze on this yellow - gold beer, lots of blobby stuff bobbing about, most attractive! Palate is light and semi dry with modest carbonation. Slightly tart fruits accompanied by salt and herbs. Soapy saffron is in there but thankfully not dominant. Tart fruits return before a smooth and semi dry finish. Out there!

Nose is pissy lemon, herbal, floral, light spice, lemon drizzle. Taste comprises grain, sea salt well evident, citric rinse, lemon rice, herbal shreds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok to be fair.

Bottle shared in London - many thanks to Paul. Pours lightly hazy yellow with a frothy, white head. Interesting aroma, some grain, anise, saffron. Light sweet flavor with a novel spiced rice character, some pale grains, hay. Light bodied with spritzy carbonation. Dry finish, lightly tangy, with hints of lemon peel, more spiced rice, grain, hay. Pretty drinkable stuff.

Bottle shared a level 42. It pours hazy bright yellow / gold with a medium white head. The aroma is salty, oily, earthy, savoury, white bread and umami. The taste is crisp, dull bitterness, earthy, white bread, cracker, umami, salty and herbal with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Interesting, but not especially tasty.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - lemon coloured with big lumps. A small but well formed head. Nose - definitely saffron with a hint of the olive oil. Taste - saffron, lemon and definitely the rice too. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - very interesting concept beer.
