Cask at the hanging bat... Dark brown black... Thick tan head... Soft sweet chocolate malts nose... Soft sweet chocolate roast.. Woody chocolate roast

Cask at the Brunswick, Leeds. Pours hazy dark brown with a thick, nitro-looking beige head. Aromas of dark chocolate, stone fruit. Taste is light roast, some more chocolate, fruit and hazelnuts too. Nice, complex porter, very smooth finish

Cask @ Craven Arms, Birmingham - MTB range. Pours dark with good off-white head. Lightly smoky aroma. Taste is surprisingly light with a smoky roast character and dry bitter finish. Perhaps a bit thin, but a fine porter nonetheless.
