Flesje meegenomen van vakantie. Inmiddels over datum. Het is een donkerbruin bier met een rode gloed. Het heeft een medium beige schuimkraag. De geur van gebrande mout. De smaak is gebrande mout, caramel en wat gistachtig.

Tap at Belg Aube Toyosu. Rich red brown colour, big creamy beige head. Aroma creamy, bit choc, sweet, very malty, ovaltine. Taste, bit choc again, lots of ovaltine, malted milk biscuits, something herbal. Quite unique and nice. Very creamy texture.

Pear drups aroma with a touch of roasted malt. Sweetish, malty flavor with pear and cinnamon. Medium bodied. Roasted bitter aftertaste. Well made beer.

Tap at Hoppy Corner, Paris, 13th November 18. Pours a brown see through beer. Aroma is yeast, peat, floral, spice. Taste is typical Belgian ale with a earthy, peat, slight cararmel, yeast, spice, floral. Lovely take in the style.

From the 75cl bottle. Pours brown with a frothy beige head. Earthy, smoky aroma. Peat. Moor. Smoke. Taste is bittersweet, rich, earthy, malty. Body is medium. Balanced carbonation. Right up my alley.

29 April 2018, at Zythos Bierfestival. Deputy Taster: Anke.
Hazy dark brown with a lasting, foamy, tan head; lots of lacing. Aroma of caramel, herbs, yeast, raisin, licorice, roasted nuts, cinnamon, coffee with a cookie. It tastes light to medium malty sweet, some raisin & licorice, and light to medium roasted bitter, bit nutty. Not too dry, toasty, herbal hop finish. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Pleasantly surprised by this brewery; you get so much at only 6.5%.
