Bottle from Cork & Cask. Dark brown body with a medium beige head that holds well. Good lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, nuts and wood. Flavour of flat Coca-Cola, dark chocolate and orange peel. Medium body with a frothy mouthfeel. Light fizz. Mild and well balanced.

Dark brown, near black. Head is slightly off-white, dense and quite persistent. Low lacing. Aroma is roasted malts, dark fruit notes and a herbal touch. Taste follows the aroma with good balance between sweet and bitter notes: roasted malt and caramel, dark fruit notes and a herbal/grassy finish that gives it a bitter touch and aftertaste that is not typical of brune beers, though it is still very much in check. Light to medium body, crispness is very low, smooth. Ok beer

Really dark brown colour. Lots of roasted malts in the aroma together with a little cocoa and coffee. Flavour has a lovely bitter sweet balance.

Thanks! 750 ml. bottle sampled, decent portion @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Dark brown, creamy mocha. Nose is herbal with thin chocolate, candy, liquorish, a touch too thin & overly carbonated. Taste is liquorish, herbal, herbal coffee with a thin cheap chocolate quality and malts, toffee, roasted bread,… Rather thin & a bit grainy. Still despite my apparent complaints this is like a light Porter with Belgian qualities, rather interesting & good beer. Nice one.
