33 cl bottle @ Sankt Hans Tasting, Ulfborg. BBE 2017.
. Aroma has biscuits, cereal and some apricot. Flavour has alcohol, menthol, some apricot, fruity hops and some grapefruit. Also gluey tones. Too much alcohol here - could work as very cold though.

330 ml. bottle @ home. Purchased @ Willems & Zoon. BBF 01/2017. Clear sparkling amber / orange, big bubbles disappearing white head. Nose is orange peel hops but rather sweet, dried apricots, candy sweetness while still distinctly showing hop profile, faint plastic,… Taste is unbalanced, strong herbal bitter dried orange peel & apricot, herbal bitterness, touch phenolic (which rubs me a bit the wrong way)& plastic bitterness, light quinine, plaster, bitter wild herbs, nothing in-between & light candy sweetness in the back. There is a big gap between both flavor components. Body is light candy like & plaster with a light case of chewy malts. There is nothing bad or off about this beer, I don’t particularly mind it but it lacks all balances & the flavours really do not come together. While this isn’t bad, this pretty much how a DIPA shouldn’t be.
