Light in colour yet strong and misleading beer, inspired to Tripel beers, a Belgian beer-style born in abbeys. We decided to deconsecrate this style with loads of American hops. Flavor and taste play on the fine balance between dry patisserie and mature fruits, with a dry end. One more of it could hurt you.

Bottle, 9.5%. Weak fruity aroma, hint of ashes and hay. Smells authentic. Cloudy golden colour. Good stable creamy white head. The flavour starts off nicely sweet. Then comes a creamy, sweetish and citric note with a good white wine character. Vanilla and honey sweetness. Very flavourful and yet well-balanced.

Bottle. Pours hazy straw with airy white head. Clear aroma of fruit, malt and flowers, with notes of sugar. Sweetish, fruity and floral taste with notes of honey and yeast and touches of bubblegum. Acidic aftertaste wit estery hints. High carbonation. Very nice.

Bottled (BDX). Hazy orangeish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is herbs, grass, some toffee, mild floral notes as well as some fruits. Flavour is sweet malts, some alcohol, fruits, some yeast and mild herbal notes. Quite tasty, but lacks a bit in complexity to be really good.

Tap at Pigalle. Deep gold with a two-finger head of foam that lingers throughout. Orange marmalade all over the nose with light grapefruit, mikan, muscat and baked bread. Body feels very light for the abv. Above average carbonation with a medium body. Not overly sweet and well-balanced with the bitterness shining on the finish. Great beer.

Bouteille 33cl, BB 28/02/2016, Lotto# L5092.
