The traditional sour beer uses the wild yeast found around the farm. This gives the beer a soft, refreshing sour taste. After a year of aging on a barrel this beer is ready for consumption. Each batch of Zure van Tildonk is carefully aged in our cellars at the Engelburcht Monastery for several months prior to release.

Very vinegar forward, tart, and sharp. Soft fruit, but vinegar notes are dominant. Apples, and pears are there, with some wheat, and light funk.

Bottiglia.

Bottled. Slightly hazy yellow colour with a minor white head. Aroma is tart wood, some funk, farmyard and mild fruity and some slight acidic tones. Flavour is green apple skins, some tart wood, mild vinegary acidity and some herbal tones. Quite brutal, but a very nice sipper, which makes you want to have another sip.

33cl bottle from Biiru's Christmas Calendar. Pours hazy brownish orange with a very short-lived head. Aroma of vinegar, wood and sour berries. Sour, tart and slightly funky. Reminds me of sour feet candy.

Fles thuis geprobeerd.
