Goed verscholen tussen de Tildonkse velden bij Leuven ligt Hof ten Dormaal, een oude hoeve, waarvan de eerste verwijzingen teruggaan tot in de dertiende eeuw als de hoofdplaats van de heerlijkheid Lauwendries.

Hoevebrouwerij Hof ten Dormaal is een uniek concept waar boeren en brouwen hand in hand gaan. Dit gaat terug op de traditie waar er vooral thuis op de boerderij gebrouwen werd, met de ingrediënten die op de boerderij verbouwd werden.

Deze traditie zet Hof ten Dormaal de familie Janssens vandaag verder. Onder goedkeurend oog van vader Andre, boeren en brouwen zoons Dries en Jef lustig voort. Vanuit de traditie zetten we vol in op bieren met unieke, innoverende smaken. Alle ingrediënten, van graan tot hop, worden op de eigen boerderij verbouwd, en de graanresten, die overblijven na het brouwen gaan rechtstreeks terug naar de dieren op de boerderij. Zo vormen we een gesloten cirkel in een uniek, duurzaam, ecologisch concept waar we zo weinig mogelijk verloren laten gaan.
