Oaktoberfest is a true German Märzen bier, brewed with premium imported Pilsner and Vienna malts. It’s spiced with Bavarian hops from the Fatherland, and fermented with the famous Bavarian Augustiner Lager yeast from Munich. We utilized German Hallertauer traditions for both bittering and aroma additions, adding a rich, noble hop presence to this beer.

Can. Toasted malt aroma with notes of bread, caramel, oak, toffee and vanilla. Pours clear copper colored with half a finger of white head that has good retention and some lacing. Starts with bready malt, caramel and oak flavors. Finishes smooth and refreshing with toasted malt, toffee and vanilla flavors. Excellent Oktoberfest.

Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 33A: french oak / 4B). Can 35.5 cl - Batch undeclared (BB undeclared). AROMA: medium-low malty aroma (sweet, slight cracker and faint honey). APPEARANCE: deep gold to very light amber color and clear. medium white head, creamy, with good retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium-low cracker, slight honey malt flavor. faint herbal hop note. medium-low bitterness, with a semi-dry finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: an oak aged Festbier-type beer that lacks the wood presence and more malty richness.

12 oz. can. Pours a clear, golden color, with a big, foamy, white head. The aroma is caramel, apple, cardamom, and crackers. Sweet and yeasty, with a light, musty bitterness. Light, sticky, and biting. Fair and easy.

Pale amber, and bright. Not much head. This has a good toasty, oaky note, with a bit of caramel. Decent quality, maybe I would prefer more malt complexity.
