Can at home, thanks to whomever gave me this, 16/08/15. Pitch black with a slightly dirted up tan covering that stays for the show. Nose is liquorice, treacle toffee, burnt biscuit, chocolate strains, dark malt, light roast. Taste comprises toasted brown sugar, light cocoa, toffee, charr, biscuit, treacle. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent well rounded porter.

As Ceres Stout. Pours a dark brown color, almost black, topped with relatively small tan colroed head. Roasted malts aroma, some chocolate and coffee notes. Not too strong. Taste is similar, sweet, mildly roasty, some chocolate and coffee. Not a bad one.

Rating from old notes, tasted in 2004 as Ceres Stout (its original name). Very dark, almost black beer, oily texture, thin light beige head; weakish aroma, malty, chocolate and caramel with some iron and coffee; malty taste, pretty straightforward with somewhat thin body, bit metallic, very caramelly, dryish, coffee-like roasted bitterness in the finish. Typical and very acceptable bottom-fermented Baltic porter.

Nearly black with small beige head. Malty aroma with chocolate notes and faint hops. Flavour starts off with chocolate, then comes salty, sweet licorice. Soft, full bodied mouthfeel ending semi dry and bitter. Not bad.

330 ml. can split by 3 @ “Exclusive S&G Tasting: Special guest 77ships”. Obtained in a trade with Dedollewaitor. Dark brown, little mocha head. Thick grainy mocha head, soy sauce, tad roast; Sweet soy mocha, chocolate, grainy feel common to Baltic Porter beers, candy, light hops, instant coffee. Grainy mouth feel as mentioned before. Nothing amazing but solid enough.

Dobry choc niezbyt rewelacyjny stout.
