Roasted malt aroma with some peach fruit. Sweet flavor with pineapple and peach, but the roastiness is always in the background. Full bodied with a hint of sourness. Very likeable soft stout type.

330 ml bottle purchased in St Thomas, USVI. Pours a pitch black color with a small light tan head and good retention. Almost no lacing. Coffee and molasses aroma. Dark roasted coffee flavor dominates with a little molasses and dark fruit in the finish. Not my favorite profile but well done. Almost flat mouthfeel. The 7.7% ABV is well hidden.

Bottle from Beef Island airport BVI. Dark clear brown color medium tan head. Aroma of burnt toast dark fruit molasses. Taste is earthy cocoa and coffee dry finish. OK.

Can 0.33, trade with Camons, many thanks, René! Dark brown colored. AROMA- toasted malts, chocolate, coffee, pralines, prunes, dark grapes. FLAVOR- very smooth, a bit sweet, pleasantly bitter finish, chocolate, coffee, touch of fruit. Fuller bodied.
Very tasty.

0,33 boks, delt med skibsrederen ombord på Fridtjofen: brunsvart med ok skum. Røstet aroma med kaffe og malt (og et merkelig hint av såpe, som forsvinner etter hvert). Overraskende god stout-smak, halvtørr og fin med en passe fyldig kropp, slik at den er lett å helle innenfor snippen. Sjokolade i avslutningen.

Warm, bitter, with a hint of underlying fruitiness. Smells both fruity, and a bit boozy. Very thin head. Surpisingly light-bodied,but still all in all a decent stout.
