330ml bottle. Pours very hazy lemon gold with a medium head. Aroma is sour farmhouse lemon. Taste has sour apple skins to start with a funky farmhouse yeast lemon finish.

Hazy paleish gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light. Mild thin malts, little thin cream. Lovely Quince, a kind of lemony tangerine but it’s own familiar English flavour. Light finish. Really nice fruits.

22/XI/14 - on tap @ Brew By Numbers Brewery (London) - BB: n/a (2014-1390)
Pretty cloudy grapefruit kind of orange pinky colour, creamy white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: funky, bit sourish, fruity notes, bit lemony, is it quince I smell, or just the power of suggestion? MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: funky, bitter, grassy, quite spicy, lots of coriander, sourish. Aftertaste: bitter, very spicy, overload of coriander, bit rubbery, chemical touch. Nope.

On tap at the brewery. Cloudy orange beige colour lasting white head. Saison yeast and quince jelly aroma. The quince adds a slight sour and sweet element to the saison. Good hop finish. Enormously accomplished and drinkable. Really well balanced and pretty much perfect. Good fruit saison mix.
