Bottled. Brown beer with a tan head. Roasted malt and sour bonfire-smoke in aroma. Flavor is roasted with coffee and alcohol. Full body with bitter finish. Rating: 3-3-6-4-15-3.1. 051104
Bottle. A clear, dark reddish brown beer topped by a dense, beige head of moderate size. Roasted, almost burnt aroma with toffee, dried fruits and some butterscotch. It’s quite sweet on the palate, with roasted notes, some toffee and a touch of bitterness. Medium body, pleasant carbonation but it’s too sweetish. Overall, not as good as I remembered it, but it’s drinkable. 120405

A dark red-brown beer with a nice brown head. The aroma is on the light side with roasted notes of nuts and malt. The flavor is sweet and quite roasted with notes of bread, nuts, caramel, brown sugar, as well as some grassy hoppy notes. The end is dry and slightly bitter, but the body is thin. I’m impressed how thin this beer is for a 6% ABV beer - it must be the added brown sugar - it’s too bad, for with a little more body, this could be very nice, but then the price ofcourse will rise, and then the target market is not met, since it then can’t be sold thru its designated sales channel, which is Aldi.

(Bottle 33 cl) Dark brown with a reddish glow and a beige head. Malty, soft and smooth with a light sweetish touch. Not at all a bad brew. Wonder if this is yet another Vestfyen copy of a Refsvindinge beer - the original being "Mors Stout". 090105

Dark brown body with light brown, quickly disappearing head. Has the cheap cardboard Vestfyen aroma with some licorice and molasses. Flavour is malt dominated and somewhat sour, with a decent dry aftertaste.

Bottle. Very dark brown colour with big but unstable light brown head. Aroma of liquorice but seems a bit metallic. Flavour of sweet milk chocolate. This reminds me very much of Refsvindinge Mors Stout, only with a little more carbonation and a slightly more sour aftertaste.
