Bottle courtesy of rlgk. Pours blackish dark brown with a big frothy dark mocha head that slowly dissipates while leaving some thick lacing on the glass. Smell is tiny sweet and malty with roasted malts, rye bread, dark roast coffee, bitter chocolate, salty liquorice candy, hay, burnt cereal and hints of alcohol. Taste is sweet, bitter and malty with roasted malts, moist soil, burnt caramel, dark roast coffee, rye bread, bitter chocolate, burnt wood, black pepper corns, leather and hay, Mouthfeel is soft, round, slightly roasted astringent and medium to full bodied. Bottled, from Systembolaget. Perfectly black, small brown head. Tar, molasses and grapefruit peels up front. Mid dry with full body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Heavy with tar, viola, dark chocolate and long salty bitterness.

Flaska från Sb. En lite örtig och kryddig IS som inte riktigt når ända fram. Kaffe, choklad, lakrits, aningen hårdrostad och kryddig kärvhet. Saknar lite fyllighet, rundhet och smakerna lyfter inte riktigt. Helt okej men inte mer.
